Real estate has never just been about houses for me—it has always been about people, relationships, and life transitions.

My real estate journey began more than ten years ago in Fairbanks, Alaska, where I first learned the business and discovered how meaningful it can be to help someone find a place to call home. A few years later, life brought my family to Florida’s beautiful Emerald Coast, where I’ve continued serving buyers and sellers for the past nine years.

Early in my career, I had the privilege of working with a locally owned and operated brokerage, where I built my business around strong client relationships, market knowledge, and guiding people through the details of contracts and negotiations. I also found myself naturally helping newer agents navigate the process, which helped me realize how much I enjoyed mentoring and leading others.

My brokers saw that potential in me and encouraged me to pursue my broker’s license. Once I earned it, I couldn’t ignore the vision I had been carrying for years—to create a brokerage built on trust, loyalty, and genuine care for the people we serve.

That vision became Black Dog Realty Group.

The name comes from one of my own best friends—my loyal Black Lab–Airedale Terrier mix. If you know dogs, you know exactly what they represent: loyalty, protection, and unconditional support. That’s the spirit I wanted my brokerage to embody.

My goal has always been simple: to be your best friend in real estate.

A best friend listens.

And a best friend walks beside you during life’s biggest moments.

Real estate is often one of the most important decisions people will make in their lifetime, and I believe it deserves more than just a transaction—it deserves guidance, advocacy, and genuine care.

Some of my favorite clients to work with are first-time homebuyers, especially those who never believed homeownership was possible. There’s nothing more rewarding than helping someone achieve that milestone.

I also have a special connection to military families. As a military spouse for 13 years, I experienced three PCS moves with children and pets from California to Alaska to Florida. I understand firsthand the stress and complexity that can come with military relocations, deployments, and buying or selling a home from across the country. Because of that, I work closely with lenders and title companies to make sure the process is smooth—even when my clients are thousands of miles away.

Another area I care deeply about is helping families navigate major life transitions, including downsizing, helping aging loved ones move from longtime homes, and working through probate and estate-related sales. These moments can be emotional and complicated, and I believe people deserve an agent who approaches them with patience, compassion, and experience.

At the end of the day, my role isn’t just to help you buy or sell a home.

My role is to walk alongside you through one of life’s biggest decisions with honesty, guidance, and a commitment to always put your best interests first.
