Bethany grew up with black cocker spaniels. Then came Matty — a black lab whose owners moved away and left her behind in their backyard. Bethany's family gave Matty a home, and Matty gave them thirteen good years. When Matty passed, they weren't looking to replace her — but a shelter in North Pole, Alaska had a litter of Airedale-Lab mixes that were hard to ignore. They went to visit. Mooshu picked them.
